It was bring your child to work day recently so Rocco again hit the road with her dad, The Master of Disaster. She started the day participating in the Sandler Sales Institute’s President’s Club. And participate she did!
Below is her interview with Bernie Cronin, Coach at the Sandler Sales Institute.
Connections Team Members Step Out To Help the Community
Connections for Business Team Members Kerri Caudill and Jonathan Garber recently visited a local Charter School to present a workshop for parents on
“Keeping Kids Safe on the Internet“. This all started with a video blog our own Rocco (World’s Youngest Corporate Video Blogger) produced last year around giving parents easy tips to keep their kids safe on the Internet. Well, that video took off and has been viewed over 400 times around the world! Local schools starting asking if we could present a live, hands-on tutorial on implementing these safety ideas and we said “Yes!”
This was our second such presentation and we have another school lined up for the next one. If you are on a PTO or belong to an organization which could benefit from a workshop on “Keeping Kids Safe on the Internet”, drop The Master of Disaster an email and we’ll make it happen.
This Halloween Rocco Visited Award-Winning Artist Georgette Pressler of Devious Body Art
Rocco, The World’s Youngest Corporate Video Blogger is back. She hit the road for a visit with Georgette Pressler of Devious Body Art. Georgette is an award winning Body Painter and special effects makeup artist. For Halloween, Georgette and her amazing team opened a special studio in the heart of West Palm Beach and the crowds lined up!
Georgette took some time to sit down with Rocco and explain what she does and then gave her a custom fairy face painting. Afterwards, Rocco and The Master of Disaster chowed down at the famous Rocco’s Tacos.
Well, I am getting old. How old? You gotta watch the video. I am marking my mid-life crisis the only legal way I can, blogging. I am taking my show on the road to highlight YOU. If you have a hobby, sport or passion you want to share with my viewers and the world, take me up on my offer. If you are a with an organization that provides an outstanding service or product, invite me in. If you are a non-profit making a difference in our community, tell the world. Watch my latest video, join our Facebook page and submit an invitation to me.
Alright, we won’t kid you. We were getting mighty tired of finding Rocco’s hair everywhere. She wouldn’t get it cut until she learned about Locks of Love and the kids they help. Right then and there she asked for a haircut and to blog about it to educate other kids. Cool Cuts for Kids in Hollywood donated the haircut and the next day we drove to Locks of Love to interview Lauren Kukkamaa, the Communications Director. Rocco learned all about the organization and their mission. Most importantly, she learned about the impact her donation will have on another child’s life. Well, she’s already growing it out again and hopes other people, young and old, will follow her example.
Rocco is The World’s Youngest Corporate Video Blogger based here at Connections for Business. When she is not spreading Safety Tips for Kids, she is educating people about ConnectCare Outsource IT, Business Continuity and Cloud Computing. Drop her a line with an idea.
